Nexgenix has assembled a board of prominent technology industry visionaries
who bring extensive experience in building industry-leading, multi-billion
dollar enterprises to Nexgenix.
Rick Dutta is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience
in high tech industry and computer software technology.
He founded Nexgenix in 1990 and has successfully helmed it since
then. Under his leadership, the company grew to over 500 people
and $50m in revenue in 1999. In 2000, Rick decided to shift the
company strategy, from a system integrator model to a software solution
model in the supply chain management arena.
Rick's vision is to provide the industry with a new generation
enterprise solution that helps in bridge the gap between people,
processes and the technology solution, by re-aligning the organization
and increasing efficiency and profitability. Rick oversees the day-to-day
operations and sets the direction of the Nexgenix business strategy,
solutions delivery, organizational, and financial strategy.
Prior to Nexgenix, Rick spent more than 10 years in various management
positions with Hewlett-Packard and Unisys. He currently serves on
a number of advisory committees, including the University of California,
Irvine Chief Executive Roundtable, and as a Board of trustee member
for Girls Inc. Rick earned an MBA from UCLA and has both a master's
and bachelor's degree in engineering.


David has served as a member of the board of directors since October
1999.
David was employed by Ingram Micro, the world's largest distributor
of technology products and services, from September 1989 until his
retirement in May 1998. David served in various executive capacities
with Ingram Micro, including co-chairman, vice-chairman, president
and chief operating officer. David was also a co-founder and CEO
of Ingram Alliance from January 1994 until his retirement in 1998,
and was chairman of the initial cap global technology distribution
council from 1998 until December 1999. David is an active investor,
and serves on the Boards of Viking Components, Inc., CUShopper,
Inc. and Tempest Financial Services Inc.

Jim Goodman has been an investor in private middle market companies
for the last eleven years.
In 1993, he formed the predecessor firm to Gemini Investors. In the last five
years, Jim and his partners have raised three Small Business Investment Company
funds and have invested in over 30 companies.
Prior to founding Gemini, Jim was a Vice President for four years with Berkshire
Partners, where he completed $400 million of private equity transactions.
Previously, he was a management consultant for five years with Bain &
Company. A speaker at numerous industry conferences and seminars, Jim currently
serves on the Board of Directors of nine private and public companies.
Jim received his A.B., M.B.A., and J.D. degrees from Harvard University.


Safi has served as a member of the board of directors since October 1999.
Safi was the founder of AST Research, a personal computer manufacturer, and
served as its chairman of board of directors and chief executive officer from
1980 to 1997.
Safi is an active investor and serves on the board of directors of Nextcard,
Inc., and PowerWave Technologies, Inc., as well as several private companies.
